This 18 AWG, 4-conductor solid fire alarm cable is for electrical professionals installing indoor fire alarm, audio, control, initiating, and notification circuits. Supplied on a 1,000-foot spool, it provides a red cable option for routing circuit wiring in applicable building spaces.

The cable has bare copper conductors, polymer alloy insulation, polyester binders, and twisted-pair or cabled construction. A flexible plenum jacket surrounds an overall aluminum-polyester foil shield with 100% coverage and a TC drain wire. It is NEC Type FPLR and meets the 300-volt requirement specified in NEC Article 760 for use within ducts, plenums, and other spaces used for environmental air.
