How do I return an item?

How much time do you have to return an unwanted order?

  • Returns must be submitted (mailed) back within 30 days from receipt of product.

Where to submit (mail) returns to

  • All returns are to be mailed via UPS, FedEx, USPS or other approved mail service:
  • Call Customer Service at (800) 810-FILE (3453) to confirm that your item is eligible for return (see below regarding custom or modified products).
  • Receive RA Number and mailing address for the item being returned from Customer Service, and ship back accordingly.

Did you receive the wrong item?

  • If you received an item that you didn't order, call us at (800) 810-FILE (3453) and we will gladly pay to have it picked up and shipped back at no charge to you! We will then ship the right item out to you immediately. (Based on availability of stock)

Did you order an item and realize it was wrong once shipped to you?

  • If you received an item that you did order, but want to return it (as long as the item qualifies for return), you will have to cover the cost to ship the item back, plus you will be charged a restocking fee (most products are 10%-30% fee). Unfortunately there is no way to refund your original shipping charge. Call us at (800) 810-FILE (3453) for a Return Authorization Number and we will guide you through the process and help you find the correct product.
  • If you qualified for free shipping and choose to return the product, then you are responsible for covering the original cost of shipping plus the said restocking fee (if applicable). 
  • *Above stated Restocking Fees are collected to cover cost to process the item back into inventory. All effort is taken to minimize these costs and provide exceptional service.

Did you order a modified or custom item/product?

  • All modified and/or custom items are non-returnable due to the many different options available. Most folders with fasteners are considered modified products. If you are unsure if the item you ordered is modified or customized, please contact our customer service department at (800) 810-FILE (3453) (Available from 7:00am - 5:00pm PT Monday-Friday)
  • Please note all special order and/or custom order's require payment in full upon placing the order.
