This 18 AWG, 4-conductor stranded control cable is for installers and contractors wiring communication circuits in indoor air-handling spaces. Its plenum-rated CMP construction supports security systems, background music, intercom, and sound or audio installations in ducts, plenums, and other spaces used for environmental air.
Supplied in a 1,000 ft. box, this white cable has four stranded conductors with polymer alloy insulation, ASTM bare copper, polyester binders as required, and a flexible plenum jacket in a cabled construction. It is NEC Type CMP and is stated to meet 300-volt requirements specified in NEC Article 800.
