This 22 AWG, 2-conductor shielded control cable is designed for communications-system installers routing cable for security, intercom, background music, sound, and audio systems. Its plenum construction supports indoor communications-circuit installations in ducts, plenums, and other environmental-air spaces.
Supplied in a 500-foot box, this white cable has stranded bare copper conductors in a twisted-pair construction with polymer alloy insulation. It includes polyester binders as required, a flexible plenum jacket, and 100% aluminum-polyester foil shielding with a TC drain wire. The cable is NEC Type CMP and meets 300-volt requirements specified in NEC Article 800.
