This 16 AWG, 2-conductor shielded control cable is for installers and commercial electrical contractors routing communications circuits in indoor environmental-air spaces. Its 500-foot box provides cable for security, intercom, background music, sound, and audio system wiring.
The cable has stranded bare copper conductors in a twisted-pair construction with polymer alloy insulation and a flexible white plenum jacket. It includes 100% aluminum polyester foil shielding with a tinned copper drain wire and is rated NEC Type CMP for 300-volt requirements under NEC Article 800.
