This 22 AWG, 2-conductor shielded control cable is for installers and electrical contractors routing communications circuits in indoor air-handling spaces. Its plenum-rated design supports control, security, intercom, background music, and audio system wiring.
Supplied in a 1,000-foot box, this white cable has stranded bare copper conductors in a twisted-pair construction with polymer alloy insulation. It includes a flexible plenum jacket, polyester binders as required, and 100% aluminum-polyester foil shielding with a tinned copper drain wire. The cable is NEC Type CMP and meets 300-volt requirements specified in NEC Article 800.
