This 14 AWG, 2-conductor shielded control cable is designed for communication-circuit installations in ducts, plenums, and other indoor spaces used for environmental air. It provides a 500-foot supply for security systems, background music, intercom, sound, and audio wiring.
The cable has stranded bare copper conductors in a twisted-pair construction with polymer alloy insulation, polyester binders, and a flexible plenum jacket. Its overall shield is 100% aluminum polyester foil with a tinned copper drain wire. This white cable is NEC Type CMP and meets 300-volt requirements specified in NEC Article 800.
