This component strip heater provides radiant heat for industrial equipment users who need a compact heating source for surface or process-air heating applications. Its strip format supports installation on equipment such as platens, dies, molds, tanks, piping, cabinets, and ovens.
The heater operates at 240V and 200W and measures 7-1/4 inches long. The assembly is enclosed in a stainless steel sheath and has two offset bolt-type terminals at one end. Mounting holes support secure installation, and the heater can be controlled with a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or surface-mounted bi-metal thermostat. Maximum sheath temperature is 1000°F (538°C).
