This component strip heater provides radiant heat for industrial maintenance teams and equipment builders working with surface-heating and process-heating equipment. It can be used where controlled heat is needed for components such as platens, dies, molds, tanks, piping, cabinets, and ovens.
The heater operates at 240V and 1000W. Its assembly is enclosed in a stainless steel sheath compressed under high pressure, with two offset bolt-type terminals located at one end. Mounting holes support secure installation, and the heater can be controlled with a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or surface-mounted bi-metal thermostat. It is suitable for applications with maximum sheath temperatures up to 1000°F.
