This clear acrylic gesso is a professional primer for artists preparing surfaces while keeping the underlying character visible. It helps create a paint-ready ground on raw or patterned backgrounds for acrylic, oil, pastel, and drawing-media work.
The 16 oz (473 mL) clear acrylic gesso has a medium-texture finish that adds tooth for paint adhesion and dry-media layers. It seals porous wood, canvas, paper, and board, and can be used as a base for collage, mixed media, and transparent painting techniques. The product is non-yellowing, permanent, and water-resistant when dry.
Key Features:
Choose this clear gesso when you need to prime porous art surfaces without covering their original appearance. Its textured, water-resistant ground supports layered work across multiple media.
