This clear acrylic gesso is a transparent primer for artists who want to prepare painting and drawing surfaces while keeping raw or patterned backgrounds visible. It helps create a dependable foundation for layered creative work without covering the character of the surface beneath.
The 32 oz (946 mL) acrylic gesso has a clear, medium-texture finish that seals porous wood, canvas, paper, and board. Its flexible ground is compatible with acrylics, oils, pastels, and drawing media, and it can also serve as a base for collage, mixed media, and transparent painting techniques. The dried finish is non-yellowing, permanent, and water-resistant.
Key Features:
Choose this clear gesso when the work calls for a textured, prepared surface without concealing the appearance of the underlying material.
