This clear acrylic gesso is a surface primer for artists preparing visible wood, canvas, paper, or board backgrounds. It seals porous surfaces while preserving the look of raw or patterned materials, creating a workable base for painting, drawing, and mixed-media projects.
The 64 oz. clear acrylic gesso has a medium-texture finish that provides tooth for acrylics, oils, pastels, and drawing media. It forms a strong, flexible foundation and can also be used for collage, mixed media, and transparent painting techniques. The dried surface is water-resistant, permanent, and non-yellowing.
