This automatic gas vent damper is for heating professionals and facility maintenance teams working with compatible gas appliances. Installed in the vent pipe after a draft hood or barometric control, it opens during a call for heat and closes during off cycles to help limit airflow through the vent.

The damper has stainless steel construction and operates with 24 VAC, 60 Hz intermittent ignition and standing-pilot ignition systems. Its motor rotates the damper 90 degrees to open or close in approximately 15 seconds. Dual safety switches allow burner operation only when the damper is fully open, and a hold-open switch supports service and troubleshooting. The keyed wiring-harness connector installs in one direction to help prevent incorrect connections.
