Natural Hog Bristle Flat Mottler Brush for Acrylic and Oil, Size 60

This Size 60 flat mottler brush is designed for artists working with acrylic and oil paint. Its stiff natural hog bristles help apply paint across broad areas with control, making it useful for preparatory layers and large-scale coverage.

The brush has extra-short, hand-set hog bristles, a natural lacquered wood handle, and metal components. Because the bristles are not trimmed after setting, their natural split ends remain available to support consistent paint distribution. It is intended for acrylic and oil painting tasks including priming, gesso application, underpainting, varnishing, graining, and transparent painting.

Key Features:

• Extra-short hog bristles: Provides a firm, controlled stroke for spreading paint over larger areas.
• Hand-set bristle bundle: Retains natural split bristle ends to help distribute paint evenly.
• Flat mottler profile: Supports broad application for priming, underpainting, and varnishing work.
• Natural lacquered wood handle: Offers a traditional brush handle for studio painting tasks.

Choose this flat Size 60 mottler brush for controlled acrylic and oil application when your work calls for firm natural bristles and broad paint coverage.
