This low-voltage motorized zone valve is for HVAC installers and maintenance teams controlling hot-water flow in heating systems. Its two-way on/off design helps manage flow to a heating zone.
The valve combines an actuator and valve assembly with a 1 in. sweat connection and a 3.5 Cv capacity. It measures 5 in. wide, 5.75 in. deep, and 3.75 in. high. A manual opener allows valve operation during a power failure, and the valve returns to automatic position when power is restored. The powerhead can be removed or replaced without breaking plumbing connections or draining the system; the actuator motor can also be replaced without removing the valve body or draining the system.
