This motorized zone valve is for heating and cooling system installers who need to control the flow of hot or chilled water. Its actuator motor and valve assembly support water-flow control within a zoned system.
The valve uses 120V line voltage and a 1/2 in. sweat connection. It has a 4 Cv capacity. A manual opener allows valve operation during a power failure, and the valve returns to automatic operation when power is restored. The complete powerhead can be removed or replaced without disconnecting plumbing lines or draining the system; the motor can also be replaced without removing the valve body or draining the system.
