These 3/8 in. split lock washers are for maintenance crews, contractors, and shop buyers who need to help fasteners retain friction in assemblies where rotation or vibration loosening can occur. They are designed for use with compatible fasteners and may be installed with or without a stainless steel flat washer.
Each washer is forged from 18-8 stainless steel and has a trapezoidal cross section that deflects under load. The washers offer marginal resistance to vibration loosening and are corrosion and chemical resistant. They are covered by ASME B18.21.1 and supplied in a 100-count pack.
