This component strip heater provides radiant heat for industrial users handling surface-heating and process-air-heating work. It can be used where controlled heat is needed for equipment components, cabinets, ovens, tanks, piping, and similar installations.
The 240V, 750W heater measures 23-1/2 inches long and has an aluminized steel sheath compressed under high pressure. Two offset bolt-type terminals are located at one end, and mounting holes support secure installation. It can be controlled with a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or surface-mounted bi-metal thermostat. The aluminized steel sheath is suitable where maximum sheath temperature does not exceed 1000°F.
