This wire tracer and circuit testing kit helps IT professionals, cable installers, and telecom technicians identify and locate wiring during installation, labeling, and troubleshooting work. It supports testing of RJ45 Ethernet wiring, RJ11 telephone wiring, and other non-energized wires when used with the included alligator clip adapter.
The kit includes a transmitter, receiver, micro-USB charging cable, RJ11 adapter cable, RJ45 adapter cable, RJ11 alligator clip adapter cable, and carrying case. The transmitter measures 2 in. W x 1-1/8 in. D x 5-1/8 in. H, while the receiver measures 1-7/8 in. W x 1-5/16 in. D x 7-13/16 in. H. A 1050 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the unit and charges in approximately 2 hours via micro-USB.
