This white acrylic modeling paste helps artists build raised texture and sculptural detail in paintings and mixed-media work. It is designed for creating dimensional surfaces on canvas and other flexible supports while keeping the dried layer flexible.
The 8 oz (237 mL) paste is made with acrylic polymer emulsion and marble dust. Its smooth, lightweight formula can be applied with a palette knife, brush, or other tool to create peaks, texture, and relief. It dries matte white, can be mixed with acrylic color or painted after drying, and may be sanded, carved, or tinted. The dried surface is formulated to resist cracking and retain elasticity, including on unstretched canvas.
