The sight glass has an M14 x 1.5 threaded connection, a glass viewing window, and an integrated reflector. A peripheral O-ring seal sits in a retaining groove rather than at the glass face edge. The seal arrangement is designed to remain in place and resist extrusion during tightening. The elastomer seal has a maximum heat resistance of 356°F.
