This U-shaped AlNiCo magnet is for maintenance teams, shop users, and other commercial buyers who need a magnet that can be mounted through its built-in hole. Its split magnetic surface supports magnetic holding applications where a fixed mounting arrangement is needed.
The cast AlNiCo Type AN magnetic system has a split magnetic surface, a thru hole, and an iron plate on the magnetic surface. It has a 0.98-inch thickness and a red lacquered finish. The magnet is temperature resistant to 535°F (280°C), while the lacquered finish is temperature resistant to 355°F (180°C). Use nonmagnetic mounting screws so magnetic force is not impaired.
