This electric drum heater is for commercial teams that need to melt or warm heat-receptive fluids in a 5-gallon steel drum. It provides thermostat-controlled heating to help manage fluid temperature during drum handling and processing.
Designed for 5-gallon steel drums, this 120V heater has a 60°F to 250°F temperature range. Its aluminized steel belt secures with a toggle clamp and includes fiberglass insulation, a neon pilot light, and a 6-foot power cord. A remote-sensing thermostat bulb monitors temperature away from the heating element, while a three-heat switch provides three wattage settings at each thermostat setting. The unit measures 14 x 14 x 7 inches. It is not recommended for fiber or fiber-lined drums and is not moisture-proof or explosion-proof.
