This finned strip heater is an industrial heating component for equipment users who need to add controlled heat to surfaces or process air. It supports heating tasks in applications such as tanks, piping, drying equipment, ovens, ducts, and other installed equipment.

The heater is rated for 240V and 500W output and has a 15-inch length. Its assembly is enclosed in an aluminized steel sheath, with 0.022-inch-thick cadmium-plated steel fins at a nominal density of four fins per inch. Two offset bolt-type terminals are located at one end, and mounting holes support secure installation. The heater can be controlled with a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or surface-mounted bi-metal thermostat. Aluminized steel sheath applications should not exceed a maximum sheath temperature of 1000°F (538°C).
