This finned strip heater is an industrial heating component for users who need heat for surface-heating or process-air applications. Its finned design supports use in equipment such as cabinets, ovens, tanks, piping, molds, and ducts.
The 15-inch-long heater operates on 120V and provides 500W of heat. It has an aluminized steel sheath, cadmium-plated steel fins approximately 0.022 inch thick, and a nominal fin density of four fins per inch. Two offset bolt-style terminals are located at one end, and mounting holes support secure installation. The maximum sheath temperature is 1000°F (538°C).
