This 16 gauge white stranded building wire is for electricians and commercial maintenance teams wiring fixtures, machine tools, and appliances. Its 500-foot length provides wire for specified electrical installation and equipment-wiring work.
The wire has an annealed soft copper stranded conductor with heat- and moisture-resistant PVC insulation and a nylon jacket. It is rated for 600 volts and may be used as TFFN, MTW, or AWM as specified. When used as TFFN, it is suitable to 90°C; as MTW, it is suitable in wet locations or when exposed to oil or coolant to 60°C, and in dry locations to 90°C with ampacity limited to 75°C conductor temperature. As AWM, it is suitable for dry locations to 105°C.
