This component strip heater provides radiant heat for industrial users who need a compact heat source for surface-heating or process-heating equipment. It is suited to installations such as platens, dies, molds, tanks, piping, drying cabinets, and ovens.
The heater operates on 120V and delivers 250W of power in an 11-3/4 in. long strip format. Its assembly is enclosed in an aluminized steel sheath, with terminals positioned at opposite ends for electrical connection. Mounting holes support secure installation, and the heater can be controlled with a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or surface-mounted bi-metal thermostat. The maximum sheath temperature is 1000°F.
