This component strip heater is for industrial equipment users who need a compact heat source for surface heating or process-air heating. It provides 250W of heat for equipment such as platens, dies, molds, tanks, piping, cabinets, and ovens.
The heater operates on 120V and has a 250W output in an 8-inch-long strip format. Its heater assembly is enclosed in a stainless steel sheath compressed under high pressure for corrosion resistance. Two offset bolt-type terminals are positioned at one end, and mounting holes support secure installation. It can be controlled with a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or surface-mounted bi-metal thermostat. Suitable applications have a maximum sheath temperature of 1000°F (538°C) or less.
