This wax medium is a protective finishing coat for artists and creative professionals who want to seal artwork and other decorative surfaces. It helps protect finished pieces from moisture, smudging, dust, and fingerprints while adding depth to color.
Made with wax and resin, this translucent medium comes in a 16 oz container. Apply it with a fine cloth or gloved hand. Leave the dried surface matte, or buff it with a rag for a uniform satin gloss. The medium can also be mixed with oil paint or powdered pigment, and mineral spirits or solvent can be added to adjust viscosity or dry time.
Key Features:
A practical choice for sealing and finishing paintings, collage, drawings, photographs, and a range of decorative surfaces. Use it straight for a wax finish or blend it with colorants for customized effects.
