Translucent Wax Medium, 1 oz

This 1 oz wax medium is for artists who want to seal and finish paintings, collage, drawings, photographs, and other creative work. Use it as a protective topcoat to help guard artwork against moisture, smudging, dust, and fingerprints while adding depth to color.

Made with wax and resin, this translucent medium can be applied with a fine cloth or gloved hand. Leave the dried surface matte or buff it with a rag for a uniform satin gloss. It may also be mixed with oil paints or powdered pigments for cold wax painting, and mineral spirits or solvent can be added to adjust viscosity or dry time.

Key Features:

• Protective topcoat: Helps seal finished artwork against moisture, dust, smudging, and fingerprints.
• Adjustable sheen: Allows artists to retain a matte finish or buff the surface to a satin gloss.
• Color-mixing medium: Mixes with oil paint or powdered pigment to create textured, fast-drying cold wax colors.
• Flexible application: Works straight from the container or can be thinned to suit the desired consistency and dry time.

Choose this compact wax medium for finishing artwork, creating cold wax effects, or adding a wax finish to compatible creative surfaces.
