This compact UV flame sensor is for heating-system professionals working with flame safeguard controls and burners that require ultraviolet flame detection. It helps monitor the presence of a flame as part of a compatible safety-control setup.

The sensor is designed for use with flame safeguard controls that use ultraviolet amplifiers. An integral collar mounts on a 1/2 in. sighting pipe, and the 1/2 in. NPT threaded spud supports installation. Its compact size allows blast tube mounting. When correctly installed, it seals against pressures up to 5 psi. Multiple detectors can be wired in parallel for difficult sighting applications.
