This brass threaded insert assortment kit is for users who need machine threads in hard wood for fastening applications. It provides a selection of common thread sizes to keep on hand for wood projects and repairs.
The kit includes knife-style threaded inserts in six sizes: 6-32, 8-32, 10-32, 1/4-20, 5/16-18, and 3/8-16. There are 10 inserts of each size. Install by drilling a hole and threading the insert with a bolt and jam nut or an optional drive tool. These inserts are not recommended for plywood.
