This automatic exhaust shutter is designed for facilities using compatible exhaust fans to direct airflow outward while helping block reverse airflow when the fan is off. Its gravity-operated blades respond to airflow, providing a practical closure solution for vertical installations.

The shutter has a rear flange for vertical mounting and is designed for horizontal, one-direction airflow. Blades open as airflow begins and close by gravity after the fan shuts down. It is compatible with direct-drive and belt-driven exhaust fans and should not be used with vane axial or tube axial fans. Overall dimensions are 20 inches wide, 20.5 inches deep, and 2.5 inches high.
