This direct-connect water heater mixing valve kit is designed for plumbing professionals and building maintenance teams installing compatible water heaters. It helps blend hot and cold water for controlled outlet temperature and reduced scalding risk for building occupants.
The kit fits most water heaters up to 1 in. and includes a mixing valve, cold-water tee fitting, flexible stainless steel connector, and necessary adapters. Temperature adjusts with a push-twist-release locking hand wheel. Brass and stainless steel construction includes Teflon-coated wear surfaces. If the cold-water supply is interrupted, flow reduction occurs within seconds. The alternate hot port can route tank water directly to non-mixed-temperature applications.
