This compression spring is a replacement and component spring for maintenance and assembly professionals who need controlled compressive force in equipment or mechanisms. It compresses under load and returns toward its original length to support repeated-motion applications.
Made from high-carbon steel music wire meeting ASTM A228, this zinc-plated spring has a 0.97 in. outside diameter, 0.105 in. wire diameter, and 2 in. length. Closed, ground ends provide finished contact surfaces. The spring is designed for repeated cycling and operation at temperatures up to 250°F. Pack includes five springs.
