This brass fluid level sight glass helps maintenance and equipment personnel visually monitor fluid levels in pressurized oil tanks. Its reflector supports clearer level viewing, while the threaded design installs into a compatible tank opening.

The sight glass has a 1 in. NPT conical male thread designed to wedge into the matching female thread for a metallic seal. The thread can be started by hand and tightened with a tool to increase thread engagement. Its roughened thread helps keep added fibrous or PTFE thread sealant in place during installation. It is temperature resistant to 230°F (110°C).
