These 5/8 in. split lock washers are general-purpose fasteners for maintenance professionals, contractors, and shop teams assembling bolted connections. They help provide resistance to loosening where fasteners may rotate or lose friction.
Forged from hardened steel with a zinc coating, each washer has a trapezoidal cross section that deflects under load. Split lock washers can be installed with or without a hardened flat washer and provide marginal resistance to vibration loosening. This 100-pack is covered by ASME B18.21.1.
