The 3 oz pigment uses a natural calcium carbonate base with non-toxic pigment. It has good lightfastness and semi-transparent opacity. Combine the powder with an appropriate medium for watercolor, gouache, oil paint, egg tempera, drawing ink, encaustic color, or clay colorant; water alone is not recommended as a finished paint binder.
