The meter measures up to 100,000 lux or 10,000 foot-candles and uses a detachable light sensor with a sensor cover. An integrated SD card logger supports cards up to 16 GB, with up to 99 manually recorded readings or automatic sampling intervals selectable from 1 to 3,600 seconds. It has a backlit LCD, data hold, minimum/maximum functions, low-battery indication, automatic shutoff, and a tripod mount. With the optional Type J or Type K thermocouple, it can measure contact temperature in °F or °C.
