This gray steel junction box is designed for electrical installers and maintenance teams that need to enclose wiring and electrical components in indoor or outdoor locations. Its hinged cover provides access while helping protect enclosed equipment.
The Type 4 enclosure has continuously welded, smooth-ground seams, a continuous hinge with a stainless steel hinge pin, and stainless steel clamps on three sides of the door. An oil-resistant gasket supports the closure. External wall-mounting brackets and a door bonding provision are included. Weldnuts accommodate optional panels and terminal block kits on enclosures sized 6 x 4 inches and larger.
